Azul Rooftop is located on the 20th floor of the Westin Downtown. They recently underwent a renovation and the new space boasts beautiful walls of greenery, open cabanas, and a larger seating space by the bar. They also have one of the only FREE hotel pools for the public with the following available hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 2PM – 11PM
  • Friday – Saturday: 8PM – Midnight
  • Sunday: 12PM – 11PM

To me, the most exciting part is their new summer menu! It includes some really amazing bites and cocktails. Take a look at the yummy pics below!

Tex Bento (top) – Ceviche, Roasted Salsa, Street Corn
Meditteranean Bento (bottom) – Babaganush, Hummus, Tzatziki

Single serving ahi tuna poké with seaweed salad and sticky rice

Pesto orecchiette with chicken, parmesan and micro basil

Full size servings of the poké and pesto pasta

Gelato donut pop from Venezia Gelato

The Barry Mantilow – Stillhouse, Mint, Organic Blackberries, Shaved Ice

The La Sandia – Mezcal, Watermelon Sorbet, Organic Agave, Smoked Sea Salt

I suggest going with a loved one so they can feed you all these yummy things 😉

Other items I thoroughly enjoyed were the Blood Orange & Ancho Marg (with patron roca, lime, and organic agave nectar), the Bubbly Bees Knees (with aviation, lavender honey, lemon, and prosecco), the Azul – Colada (avion, coco lopez, pineapple, and OJ) and the Watermelon Salad (compressed watermelon, pork belly, and feta).
