Joel and I recently went to Punch Bowl Social to try out some of their most popular menu items, and since it was a Friday, we felt like going all out.

We started out with some delicious cocktails – the strawberry daquiri and a mule (Joel’s go-to) The daquiri was a little too sweet for me but it made for some lovely pictures!

The behemoth is called “It’s Nacho Mama’s” and it was bigger than my head. It came with tortilla chips, queso fundido, roasted cauliflower, jalapenos, pickled red onions, spicy crema and fresh cilantro. It was SO GOOD – ask for extra cauliflower. It sounds weird but you have to try it!

We ordered “A Colonel of Truth” which feeds 3 – 4 people. I loved the presentation and beautiful platter! It came with a
12 piece bucket of gluten free fried chicken, bread n butter pickles, housemade slaw, buttermilk biscuits, hot sauce butter and sweet berry jam. It’s such a delicious + fun combo!! The chicken was surprisingly light and I loved having jam to go on my  biscuits.

We finished our meal with a banana chocolate milkshake with candied bacon! It was a little too indulgent for me after eating all of the food mentioned above but it had some great flavors to it!

Other menu items that I’ve had in the past (and loooved) include the Cook’s Salad, Alabama Chicken Sandwich, Beer Braised Brats, and a cup of Watermelon Polo Punch. I really love going to Punch Bowl Social because there are so many things to choose from – whether you want to bowl, play arcade games, shoot some pool, bowl, or just lounge with friends, there’s something for everyone. It’s also great for private parties!
