I’m SO impressed by the new fall menu at Kerbey Lane Cafe. They’re amping up the culinary creativeness plus using v high quality ingredients to make amazing dishes!

Some of my favourite starters include the Chilli-Queso Fries made with akaushi beef chili, queso, a sunny-side up egg and french fries. YUUUUM. For a veggie option, the eggplant tartine is a fabulous choice. It comes with roasted eggplant, homemade hummus, Parmesan cheese, basil pesto, parsley and all layered on a crispy pita bread.

Let’s talk about brekkie. One of the best things about Kerbey is that you can get breakfast ANY. TIME. OF. THE. DAY! The Texas Benedict has akaushi steak, perfectly poached eggs, queso, avocado, pico de gallo on top of grilled cornbread. It’s my favourite thing on their fall menu! Their famous pumpkin pancakes and pumpkin french toast are on the fall menu (because it would be blasphemous if it wasn’t). I haven’t had these in years and I forgot how truly special and delicious they are (and this is from someone who isn’t crazy about pumpkin).

Onto the entrees – the Pachola Sliders come with akaushi beef, pork & guajillo pepper patties, queso fresco, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeno remoulade and mini-bistro buns (with a choice of french or sweet potato fries). The pumpkin pasta comes with Pederson’s jalapeno sausage, pumpkin cream sauce, a roasted root vegetable medley, and campanelle pasta. It had so much flavor and texture! Again, I don’t care that much for pumpkin, but this was incredible! Their classic french dip sandwich has akaushi steak, grilled red onions, mozzarella cheese, au jus and a hoagie bun (with a choice of french or sweet potato fries). Sooo comforting and delicious!

I’m so thrilled that the fall menu has so many choices and I can’t wait to go back for more! What are your favourite fall foods to order at Kerbey?
